Drone filming: work that is better told from above

The size of a site, the location of a plot or the crowd at an event cannot be fully told in footage shot from the ground. Drone filming shows the same place from above, in one smooth movement. We plan aerial shooting not as a stand-alone service but as part of a promotional film or a campaign: first what is to be told, then where to shoot it from.

Where is drone filming used?

  • Promotional and advertising films: cinematic aerial shots
  • Real estate: housing estates, residential projects, plots and commercial property
  • Events: weddings, concerts, festivals and corporate occasions
  • Construction progress: documenting the stages of a building with periodic shoots
  • Tourism: marketing footage for hotels, resorts and natural sites
  • Industry and farming: a visual record of sites, land and large areas

Filming and delivery

  • High-resolution (4K) video and photos
  • Colour grading and editing, with music, graphics and animation if you wish
  • Delivery in landscape, vertical and square formats, ready for the web, social media and ads
  • Combining drone footage with ground shots and 3D/VFX work

Permits and safety

Drone flights are subject to the aviation rules in force; some areas need a permit and in some areas flying is not possible at all. We settle the location and the permit process at the start of planning and include coordination with the site owners in the plan. Because of flying conditions (wind, rain, visibility) we recommend a reserve day.

Why Byte Habit?

A drone is not only a camera; good footage is a route planned around the story you want to tell, and an edit. Because we already do video production, editing and visual effects under one roof, the aerial footage comes out in the same language as the rest of the film.

  • A plan before the shoot: what is told, from which angle
  • Editing, colour and animation in the same team
  • Delivery for several formats and channels
  • The permit and safety process is part of the plan

The filming process

  1. Discovery and plan. We settle the location, the goal, the shot plan and the permit process needed.
  2. Permits and preparation. We plan the permits in line with the rules and site coordination, and set aside a reserve day for the weather.
  3. Shoot day. We carry out the planned shots under safe flying conditions.
  4. Edit and colour. We select, edit and grade the footage, adding music and graphics if needed.
  5. Delivery. We deliver in the sizes and formats suited to every channel you will use.

What drives the price

The scope of the shoot sets the quote.

  • Shooting time, number of days and location
  • Permit and coordination needs
  • How much editing, colour, graphics and music is involved
  • The formats and number of versions to deliver

Frequently asked questions

Does drone filming need a permit?

It depends on the area and flying conditions. We settle the permits in the planning stage and add the process to the schedule.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Wind, rain or poor visibility can stop a flight. That is why we plan a reserve day and keep the schedule flexible.

How soon do you deliver?

It depends on the editing. Raw footage can come quickly; the edited and graded final cut takes from a few days to a few weeks depending on scope.

Can we combine it with ground shooting?

Yes. Drone and ground footage can be combined in one film, and we work to a single plan for it.

Which cities do you film in?

We can shoot across Türkiye. Location and travel needs are stated separately in the quote.
